| Bio of Kathleen Pagnini
Kathleen Pagnini is the Owner and Founder of Pagnini Pilates, LLC located in Encinitas, California.
She is Creator/Producer for DVD "Pilates and Chocolate" La dolce Vita! www.pilatesandchocolate.com
She has been a certified personal trainer, private and group instructor for over 35 years and for the last 15 years certified in Pilates and corrective movement. Her studies have taken her to Europe, Africa, Croatia, Hawaii, Alaska and all over the U.S. Clientele includes the novice to the experienced, seniors, teenagers, golfers to celebrities, professional athletes and Royalty. Her passion is golf, and she conducts Golf Fitness Clinics nationwide.
During her 35 years of Fitness as well as a single mom, she has also worked as a stockbroker for Merrill Lynch, Smith Barney etc. and has lived and worked both careers in New York, Florida, Colorado, Mississippi, Scottsdale and currently resides in Encinitas, California. Her son is currently is 26 yrs old.
Kathleen works at a Hospital doing Post Physical Therapy, and Corrective Movement Exercise at a Chiropractor and Acupuncture office in North County as well as group reformer classes in Carlsbad and La Jolla. Kathleen also speaks at Corporate Events/Meetings, School Programs, Senior/ Assisted Living, conducting a movement class tailored to the audience using her expertise, quick wit and studies of body behavior and optimal movement techniques that quickly engage the attendees, creating an effective environment for lasting changes in posture and attitude.
Kathleen's passion is helping others understand their own individual movement patterns, helping them get better results in less time by using the most efficient way in which to move their bodies. She helps you 'connect' the dots by using focus, commitment and attention to your posture in day-to-day movements, so that it becomes second nature. She helps you identify and build on your strengths while inspiring you to accept and mold your challenges so that you can be more effective in everything that you do in life. Kathleen realized she could reach thousands more if she packaged her unique instructional methods into a DVD. Her perceptive nature and attention to detail enhances the body, mind and spirit of her clients.
The name "Pilates and Chocolate" was selected because Kathleen believes that exercise is only one way to enhance one's well being. A happy life does not mean avoiding those things you love but to learn balance and control. We all have behaviors that cloud the mind and lower our spirits and have to be controlled. Her Pilates techniques help balance personal behaviors as it requires going 'within' and understanding oneself, ultimately improving the physical shape of our bodies, including posture. Her techniques will demonstrate her "FIVE" secrets that will optimize the way you move using breath, focus, precision, control and balance.

Kathleen is passionate about charity and has joined with www.jeans4justice.org, a unique non-profit organization dedicated towards ending sexual violence through creative awareness campaigns and cutting edge education programs. She conducts a musical and inspiring Pilates class throughout the year donating 100% of proceeds.
Bio of Chef Cathleen Rosenberg  Chef Cathleen Campbell Rosenberg is a graduate with honors from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, San Francisco State University and recipient of a Certificate in French from Grenoble University in France. She currently teaches at Scottsdale Culinary Institute, Le Cordon Bleu Programs, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Chef Cathleen studied and cooked with Chef Vincent Guerithault of Vincent's on Camelback, Phoenix, AZ and was the dessert chef at Restaurant Oceana with Chef Ercolino Crugnale in Scottsdale, AZ. She has spent 30 years in the food industry holding positions which include Food Service Manager for the Federal Reserve Bank in San Francisco, Catering Manager, Chef, and Event Coordinator for catering companies in northern California. Cathleen is an accomplished pianist, cook, culinary non-fiction writer, herb and vegetable gardener and avid fitness buff. Her love of cooking with the freshest ingredients was intensified when she lived and studied in Grenoble, France. In 2005, a prospect arose to open a "byob" restaurant in Carefree, Arizona. She and her husband, also a chef at Scottsdale Culinary Institute, decided this would be an incredible opportunity to fulfill one of her dreams. Easy Street Bistro became a reality. Wine and food-pairing dinners were the focus at the bistro, enabling the chefs and guests to share their wines and knowledge with each other. Scottsdale Culinary Institute always remained an integral part of her life. She returned in 2007 to teach wine classes and restaurant guest services in their restaurant. Chef Rosenberg is currently working on a health and fitness-related cookbook. Chef Cathleen's theory of quality life is a reflection of her lifestyle of eating fresh food, enjoying wine and including an active fitness regime as a way of life. |
